Day 5 Howardsville to Scottsville

Today I was joined by Richmond area iSUPers, Susan Markham, Robin Ivey, and Christina Buccigrossi...didn't get going from Howardsville until after 11am, but it was a fun paddle, including the Cat 2 Goosby Falls. All the paddleboards handled that swell but we went through sitting or kneeling. Colby on a HALO iSUP went thorough standing, so it is doable with some good balance. I ran out of Micro SD card space after Goosby, and we got hit with a classic thunderstorm downpour as we got to the Scottsville ramp. I had to put up the tent in the rain, and everything got pretty soggy. Fortunately, John Murray and Gayle Owens, rescued me and we dined in style at Tavern on the James.
