Shawn redid the track design a bit, making it much quicker than it's days at HobbyTown in Virginia Beach. The faster cars especially benefited from the elimination of a couple of tightest turns.

This our first taste of the ThunderStorm, with 60 ohm Parma controllers equalizing the field. These cars are much quicker than our T-Jet class, but yet are just as driveable, without that "too stuck" feeling of full magnet cars. Generally, everyone enjoyed running them...although most felt a 45 ohm controller would be a better fit. We raced them at the normal 18 volt power. Get your ThunderStorm here!
